Cadets,
Congratulations again for being accepted as an in flight to the 2008 NYWG Leadership Encampment.
My name is C/1st Lt Zeki Ozyilmaz. I am your Flight Commander. Your Flight Sergeant is C/MSgt Colleen Casey. You have been assigned to the Squadron Two, Hotel Hornets Flight. As communication is the key to a successful encampment, I will be communicating with you regularly. There has been a web forum that has been created for our Squadron. As of 19 June, I have only recieved three emails from you guys reguarding that you are recieving these emails. Please reply to this stating that you are recieving this so I know that you are, as it is extremely important that you are.

Dear Cadets,
By now you should have received in the mail an encampment booklet. In it, it has a contraband list, an equipment list, directions to the base as well as when to arrive, and several other articles that you should read in it.
It is your duty to read the entire booklet and make sure to bring all of the items on the equipment list to encampment. I am in the process of checking on whether in-flight cadets can wear either black or brown shirts to encampment, since usually staff wears black and in flights wear brown, and if you need or are going to buy shirts from encampment soon, I suggest that you buy the brown shirts to be on the safe side.
I have attached a list of general knowledge I want you to know for encampment. Taking the time to learn it before encampment will help you for when you need to know it if you are asked it at encampment.
Also I implore you to come join the squadron message boards at http://sq2liberators.lefora.com/forum/ where I will be posting any emails I send out to you guys and gals. Also there is a get to know the flight thread where you can post some stuff about yourself and you can read about other cadets with whom you will be spending a week and almost 24 hours a day with.

Dear Cadets,
It has been brought down the chain of command that inflight cadets may wear either black or brown t-shirts under the BDUs. But by order of the Squadron Two commander, C/Major Pershke, all inflight cadets in Squadron Two, thats us, Will wear only Brown T-shirts under the BDU uniform. This is a manditory requirement and you are to email me ASAP that you have recieved this.
